IN FULL BLOOM: A Morning of Hope & New Beginnings

world-renowned breeder, Raymond Evison, unveils a luminous new cultivar, Clematis Ithemba

Thursday, 30 October 2025 at 10:00

Spring is finally here, and what better way to celebrate new beginnings than by gathering in nature, sharing good company, and planting seeds of hope together through fundraising.

Join us for an exclusive celebration IN FULL BLOOM as world-renowned breeder, Raymond Evison, unveils a luminous new cultivar, Clematis Ithemba. Travelling to South Africa for this special occasion, Raymond will share the inspiring story behind this remarkable bloom – a symbol of generosity, renewal, and hope.

‘Ithemba’, meaning hope in Zulu, is more than a plant – it’s a tribute to the inspiring work of the Children’s Hospital Trust in Cape Town.  With luminous white blooms brushed in soft pink and a story rooted in compassion, this clematis is set to captivate hearts and gardens alike.

Let’s celebrate beauty, hope, and horticultural excellence — supporting both the Red Cross Children’s Hospital and our Bursary Fund for deserving young South Africans.
