Join The Base and JNFSA, together with the Israel Centre, Partnership2gether, the Embassy of Israel in South Africa and the SAZF for our evening with THE LOUK FAMILY in Johannesburg.

Shani Louk was killed and her body abducted on October 7th by Hamas. On October 30th it was confirmed that Shani's life was tragically lost and her body was later recovered by IDF special forces in Gaza.
The parents of Shani Louk z"l will share their personal story and reflect on their experience on Sunday, 2 February 2025 at 19:30

Join us for a moving tribute to Shani Louk, a talented German-Israeli tattoo artist whose life was tragically taken during Hamas’s brutal October 7th attack on Israel. Her body was desecrated and kidnapped to Gaza, yet her voice lives on through her art. This exhibition honors her legacy, showcasing her creative works while shedding light on the atrocities of that day. The exhibition open from after the event until Friday.
